Field Test

SUMMER FIELD TEST

MY AT-AT :) I absolutely love these machines! They look soo good and are very sturdy! and I have two :D Its always great to take your lego sets outside for a but of sunshine:) You dont have to take photos or roll around on the grass, but its an unmatchable experience:) especially when the weather is this good and I have my little brother to enjoy it with :) So get out there and and experience a world of fun with your lego in the sun! :)

Anakin with his unit of specialist jungle troopers on their first mission out of the training grounds on Kamino :)
One of my Jungle Recon troopers in his element :) I think the grass works well with the colours on his armour :) The clone on the above is one of my Heavy Troopers :)

The newly appointed clone commander specialied in leading troops into forest world battles :) He's taking a little time to think this all over :)

Recon trooper, and Anakin looking smug with his new company :)
Thanks for dropping by :)

Forest Camo Soldiers :)

I present to you my new wave of specialist Clone troopers :) These Clones are equipped with camo armour specific for jungle and heavily forested plantets such as Kashykk or Felucia. The troopers come in 2 classes, Recon, and Heavy :)

The clone in the centre is the clone commander of this unit:) He is wearing camo recon armour and a heavy camo helmet. His camo cape, kama, waist cape and visor make sure he is the one to report to for orders:)
RECON TROOPERS

These are the jungle Recon troopers. Their camo pattern is different from the Heavy troopers, mainly that of their helmet design. As they are more likely to take position on tree tops their helmets are complimented with green leaf patterns. These troopers are equipped with long blasters but have been known to use short blasters too :)

HEAVY TROOPERS

These Heavy troopers are used to bring in the heavy fire when zippy sniper fire is just, not, Enough! :D

They have energy grenade laden belts strung over their chest plates! Rocket launchers! and a completely different camo pattern covering their plastoid armour.

But the real difference is their helmet camo pattern which sports dark patterns and burn stripes to conceal their form in low lying undergrowth- in which they normally take their positions. As the tradition of Heavy troopers these Clones also come with a shoulder paudron to help conceal their bulky form as well as a sign of their rank :)

Their camo is a shade darker accross their arms and show signs of exposure to blaster fire :0
THE NEW GUY

I took this photo of Captain Rex, The new Jungle Commander, and Commander Cody to see how well our he stood upto these great minifigs:D I think the answer is very well :) He didn't flinch, he didn't smile, but he stood his little ground :)
Thank you for reading!

Custom Clone Engineers

Custom Clone Engineers

No battallion is complete without the hard working spirit of the Clone Engineers. Programmed with basic combat skills, these Clones can hold down sep forces whilst repairing downed vehicles. With invaluable Engineering knowledge these Clones are vital to all Clone units! :)

As a keen Starwars battlefron player I grew an afinity to the different roles filled by specialised troopers. Clone pilots, snipers, engineers, commanders and medics :) The starwars saga displayed some of these specialists, The clone wars series some more, but by far the games displayed the most. I felt it odd that lego clone units should be without these troopers who are in some ways the most valuable member of the unit and so i designed my custom clone specialists to give my clone army a taste of real diversity :)

The clones in the photos are grade 1 and 2, this is known by the number of insignia patches on their helmets. The grade 1 engineer is referred to as a technician, whilst the grade 2 a senior technician :)

RSS V2

Here I have the pictures for the refit of the Republic Supply ship :)

The main feature of the RSS is its extendo cargo ramp which deploys to load and unload supplies. The RSS was never intended for combat and thus has no weapons. It has medium strength armour plating but is greatly helped by its Superior Shield Generating capabilities.
Each of the four propulsion pods at the rear of the craft house Grade 3 Shield emitters that more than encapsulate the ship with upto 3 layers of force bubbles! :) The RSS is truly a fast moving ship :)

The Extendo ramp has two hydraulic pistons on either side to enable the ramp to stay upright whilst holding 60% of the craft! :D Because of the pistons I had to omit the wings :(

The RSS hold can accomodate upto 8 Clone Troopers, standing unfortunately:) Again I must profess this craft was not meant for troop transport, so I dont want to see any unhappy helmets!

The loading ramp can be dropped to an impressive depth for easy unloading, especially in tight situations when the RSS maybe unable to land. Republic command has taken a keen interest into the design of this ship for future gunship design elements :D yay!

And thats all for now. Thank you for reading :)

Custom Republic Supply Ship (RSS)

The idea for the Republic supply ship came from an abundance of left over pieces from my Republic Gunship and a strong desire to create a kind of transport ship. I literally had all the pieces needed to make a craft at my disposal, and so i began work on aship that would have the ability to load and drop huge amounts of cargo. I came up with the following:

tada! :)

The RSS' primary role is to transport cargo, sort of like a micro version of a frigate you could say. It has only 2 seats in the cockpit and is not suited to carry troops like in the above picture unless Republic Command is desperate. The RSS contains a rather impressive hold (pictures to come). This is the v1 :) pictures of V2 are waiting to be posted in the continuation of this post :)

The beginning

Hello there! I've decided to enter the introverted realm of blogging since my Lego Clone Wars army began its unexpected growth spurt back in April! from a single AT-AP and an exhausted band of 8 Episode 3 shock troopers and 20 or so Clone Wars troopers under the watchful leadership of The Blue General.. My luck changed with the arrival of General Skywalker, his padawan Ashoka Tano, And the free thinking Captain Rex in the form of AT-TE Walker :D

and from that moment on, my army began to shape up and become a force to be reckoned with! :)

In this Blog I will cover clone custom decals, capes, pauldrons, weapons, vehicle reviews, and loads more so stay tuned! :)
